The photo below was received from City of Flint Lieutenant Mark Simpson on February 25, 2008.  It was originally taken October 7, 1957 in a parade in Flint. 
Historian Bill Morgan has been contacted & provided the following information:
The driver of the fire truck was Roy Lovegrove. He owned the 5 & 10 store where the Bike shop is. He lived where Cage Sports is now located.  The passenger is Al Smeja. He lived across from Kroger on Miller road and was a member of the Czech here in Swartz Creek.  Roy was a collector of antique cars. That was his fire truck. He was a 1929 graduate of Northern High School. He died in the late 1970s as I recall.
