1 10 01/02 1512 1,000 block of Houston Dr, Clayton Township Dispatched for heavy black smoke investigation, west of the caller on S. Seymour Rd.  C1 on scene investigation found a fuel oil storage drum being burned for usage as a pig roaster. The owner had called for a burning permit earlier.  He was directed to remove the drum.  All units were held at their stations. Chief Brent Cole (C-R) 6 2 2
2 12 01/06 1233 3,000 block of Pine Run Dr., Clayton Township Responded to a residential fire alarm. C1 on scene determined burnt food activated the alarm.  The occupant removed the pan to the back deck. All units were held at their stations. Chief Brent Cole (C-R) 7 3 B
3 3 01/07 2308 9,000 mile of Baldwin Rd, Gaines Township Dispatched as AMA to assist the GTFD with an attached garage fire. E12 & T23 responded.  Crews assisted with overhaul while T23 stood by until released. Lieut. Brendt Cole (R) 10 5 B

5 18 01/11 0750 2,000 mile of McKinley Rd, Clayton Township Dispatched for a tree removal from a call by a school bus driver. E21 & E11 responded. 7 01/19 1831 100 block of Terrace St., Flushing Dispatched as AMA to assist the FFD with a commercial structure fire. On scene, E22 was directed to stand by a the hydrant. Once the fire was determined to be out, E22 was returned. Capt. Tim McKnight (R) 9 9 B
8 18 01/21 2055 In the area of Miller & Dye, Swartz Creek C2 responded to a report of odor in the area. On scene investigation determined an above ground gas line vent was activated. All units were held at their stations. Asst. Chief Dave Plumb (C-R) 7 5 1
9 18 01/22 1524 4,000 block of Windsor Ct, Swartz Creek Dispatched to a odor investigation. C4 & E12 responded. On scene, the occupant indicated she was unable to tolerate an odor from the furnace vents. The smell was believed to be that of a dead animal. Complex maintenance was contacted for correction.  E12 utilized the gas detector to eliminate potential harmful gases. Batt. Chief Steve Tabit (C-R) 10 6 1
10 12 01/25 1220 3,000 mile of S. Seymour Rd, Clayton Township 911 dispatched for a residential fire alarm. Before any responders were enroute to the scene, the alarm was canceled by the alarm company.  All units were held at their stations. Chief Brent Cole (R) 4 3 B
11 1 01/26 0049 1,000 mile of S. Sheridan Rd, Clayton Township Responded to a fully involved pole building fire with AMA from FFD, GTFD and VTFD. Due to limited access to the building, line had to be stretch to the scene.  The building was a total lose.  E22, E12, T23, E11 & S16 responded. Asst. Chief Dave Plumb (C)

12 2 01/29 1813 10,000 mile of W. Mt. Morris Rd, Flushing Township Dispatched as AMA to assist the FFD with a potential structure.  Flushing C2 on scene reported smoke in the back of the house. E22 responded with 5.  Just a crews arrived on scene, they were returned to service as the FFD brought the situation under control. Capt. Tim McKnight (R) 9 8 B
13 2 01/30 2016 5,000 mile of N. Seymour Rd, Flushing Township Responded as AMA to assist the FFD with a potential chimney fire. 911 reported 2' flames coming from the chimney flue.  E22 responded with 5, but was canceled, as the FFD crew was able to bring the fire under control before arrival. 14 12  02/02 2143 9,000 mile of Miller Rd, Clayton Township Dispatched for a commercial fire alarm. C2 on scene reported a painter tripped a pull station. All units were held at their stations. Asst. Chief Dave Plumb (C-R) 6 6 B
15 15 02/03 0245 7,000 mile of Corunna Rd, Clayton Township Responded to a potential entrapment with vehicle roll over. C1 on scene was advised by CTPD the driver was out of the vehicle. E21 & E11 responded for traffic control & vehicle fluid clean up. E12 was canceled. Chief Brent Cole (C-R) 10 5 B
16 1 02/04 0528 2,000 mile of S. Morrish Rd, Clayton Township Dispatched for a potential structure with AMA form GTFD & FFD. C1 on scene was advised the fire may be out.  CTPD (fire extinguisher) & owner (water) extinguished the fire. AMA was canceled with E12 & E21 responding only to investigate with thermal imaging cameras.  The fire was confined to a bathroom without structural damage.  Smoke detectors alerted the residents of the fire.
