1 18 1/02 1800 7,000 block of Cross Creek Dr, Swartz Creek Dispatched for a report of a natural gas leak. C4 & E12 responded.E12 investigated and found a definite natural gas odor. Crewa shut off the gas valve to the dryer and open windows and the front entrance door to ventilate the residence. The natural gas odor dissipated to where there was no gas odor in the home. 2 13 1/03 1502 7,000 block of Corunna Rd, Clayton Twp Dispatched for an vehicle entrapment. C1 & E21 responded. Investigation found a vehicle 75 feet off the road with no entrapment. E21 took a blocking position to protect the scene and evaluated the vehicle for leaks and hazards. Upon direction of the police the EB lanes were closed for a short time while debris was cleaned up and the vehicle was removed. Assist Chief Tabit (C,R) 5 4 B
3 12 1/03 1514 5,000 block of Oakview Dr, Swartz Creek Dispatched for the report of a commercial fire alarm per the alarm company. While R1 was responding, Genesee County 911 advised that the alarm company called back with a false alarm. R1 continued to confirm. Sgt Fornari (C,R) 0 1 1
4 16 1/04 0752 1 Dragon Dr, Swartz Creek Dispatched to the area for the report of arcing power lines in trees. E11 responded and thoroughly searched for the arcing wires but was unable to locate any hazard in the area. Sgt Fornari (C,R) 3 1 1
5 2 1/06 1226 5,000 block of N Seymopur Rd, Flushing Dispatched AMA to Flushing for a structure fire. All AMA apparatus were cancelled while responding when Flushing IC found the call to be a cooking incident. Assist Chief Tabit (C,R) 3 6 B
6 5 1/08 1719 3,000 block of Lindenlane, Flint Twp Dispatched to assist Flint Twp. on a commercial fire alarm. C2, E12 & E21 responded. On arrival there was an audible alarm heard from inside the apartment, but no smoke or odor of smoke was present. The police were on the scene prior to my arrival and attempting to get a lockbox code to get keys to the apartment. Once entry was made into the apartment it was determined to be a vacant unit, and the smoke detector was reset. The system control in the lobby was showing a trouble fault on the system, however all we could do was silence it. This information was relayed to the Flint Twp. units at the structure fire in the event they had to return for another fire alarm. As we were clearing this incident, we were requested to backfill Flint Twp. station 1. E-21 responded. Assist Chief Tabit (R) 5 3 B
7 5 1/08 1744 1,000 block of Bel Air, Flint Twp Dispatched to assist Fire investigation for FNT TWP at Linden LN while they were on a structure fire at Bel Air. They requested we backfill them at their ST1. E21 went on standby with 3. C6 Capt. Warning (R) 5 3 B
8 18 1/10 1004 7,000 block of Miller Rd, Swartz Creek Dispatched for the report of a Co alarm. R1 & E12 responded. Sgt Fornari - IC, interviewed the homeowner and found that the alarm had been going off for about 6 hours. E12's arrival the crew was assigned with scanning the house with the Co detector. Upon the crew entering the front door the detector immediately alarmed with a reading of "41". The levels remained at that level through ought the lower level of the structure. The homeowner was also instructed to contact a furnace maintenance professional to service the source of the high readings. Sgt. Fornari (C,R) 2 2 1
9 9 1/12 0717 3,000 block of Van Vleet, Clayton Twp Dispatched to a grass fire. R1, G27 & E11 responded. R1 arrived to find 3-4 small piles smoldering in the ditch. E11 exstinguished the piles.  Sgt. Adams (C,R) 3 4 1
10 1 1/23 1550 7,000 block of Miller Rd, Swartz Creek SCAFD was dispatched to the above address for a possible structure fire, smoke coming out of the eves, potential attic fire. C-4, C1, E21 & E12 responded.
On E12's arrival advised to pull into the driveway, and stretch a crosslay to the entry door. Interior crew pulled the ceiling in the living room and extinguished all visible fire in the attack.

12 18 1/28 2037 1,000 block of N McKinley, Clayton Twp Dispathced for a Carbon Monoxide alarm with residents feeling ill. Upon entering the home readings began at 12 ppm up to 20 ppm throughout the home. Resident advised to get someone to come out and check the furnace/hot water heater. Capt Warning (C,R) 7 2 2

13 1 2/8 0258 1,000 block of N. Seymour Rd, Clayton Twp Dispatched for a report of a structure fire in the area of Corunna and Seymour. C1, C4, R1, E21, T23 & E12 along with AMA from Flushing and Gaines responded. Initial investigation found no fire in the area. Further investigation nearly 2 miles north found a single story residential 40% involved with heavy fire in the Alpha/Delta Corner. E21's crew was assigned to stretch a 1 3/4 line and begin a transitional attack, knocking down the fire on the A/D corner then advancing trough the front door to begin a primary search. T23 established water supply to E21 and E12's crew well as assigned to stretch a second line though the front door. Flushing E14 arrived and stretched the bumper line off of E21 to the garage to extinguish the fire. All units assisted in overhaul. Chief Plumb (C,R) 9 4 B
14 18 2/11 0232 4,000 block of S Seymour Rd, Clayton Twp Dispatched for a CO alarm. R1 & E21 responded. Home checked with detector, and found no readings. Capt Warning (C,R) 6 2 2
15 11 2/12 1024 7,000 block of Granda Dr, Clayton Twp Dispatched for a report of smoke in the building. E21, R1 & E12 responded. Investigation found a resident (refused entry) reporting they cleaned an oven. PPV was set up to vent the building and then all units cleared. Chief Plumb (C,R) 7 4 B
16 9 2/15 1810 9,000 block of Potter Rd, Clayton Twp Dispatched to the above address for the report of a possible field on fire per a passerby. C2, R1, G17, S26 E21 responded. Investigation found a small brush / grass fire behind the residence. Upon arrival, the homeowner extinguish the fire completely. Sgt. Fornari (C,R) 5 4 B
17 5 2/16 1634 3,000 block of Brown St, Flint Twp Dispached MA to Flint Two for a residential structure fire. E12 & E21 responded. Personnel assisted with shuttling water with engines and overhaul of the garage. Capt. Warning (C,R) 7 5 B
18 5 2/16 1757 3,000 block of Suncrest, Flint Twp While clearing #17 was requested MA to Flint Twp on a commerical structure fire. E21, E12 and S26 responded. Upon arrival the fire was reported out. E12s crew, further investigated a TI to make sure the fire was out. E21 crew setup a fan at the door to clear smoke from the basement and all the way to the top floor. Capt. Warning (C,R) 7 6 B
19 12 2/18 0721 3,000 block of Dye Rd, Swartz Creek Dispatched for a commerical fire alarm. C2, E11, E21, E12 responded. C2 arrival on location found nothing showing, confirmed false activation and canceled all units. Assist Chief Tabit (C,R) 8 3 B
20 18 2/18 1020 7,000 block of Park Ridge Pkwy, Swartz Creek Dispatched for a strong smell of natural gas in and outside the home. C2 & E12 responded. Investigation found a family memeber had shut off the gas to the home, preventing an investigation to the source. A strong small of gasoine was found emmitting from a vehicle that just had new fuel lines installed on it. Upon consumers arrival, the incident was turned over to them. Assist Chief Tabit (C,R) 6 3 1
21 13 2/19 0219 4,000 block of Elms Rd, Swartz Creek Dispatched to a rollover accident with entrapment. R1, E11, E21 & S26 responded. R1 on scene found a small truck was laying on its sid  in front of a utility pole. There was no signs of damage to the pole or danger of down wires. EMS was tending to the sole occupant. On E11's arrival, advised to begin extrication. EMS crews advised they were ready to remove the patient via. the rear window. E21 & S26 provided traffic control until Road Runner wrecker service arrived to remove the vehicle. Crews assisted with roadway clean up and then cleared the scene. Chief Plumb (C,R) 10 4 B

24 2 2/27 1559 3,000 block of Wyndham Dr, Flushing Dispatched AMA to Flushing for a possible commercial structure fire. E21 responded. Upon Flushing Fire Department arriving on scene and investigating, Swartz Creek Area Fire Department was canceled. Capt Warning (R) 6 1 B
25 16 2/27 2339 2,000 block of N Morrish Rd, Clayton Twp Dispatched for a report of a tree possibly on fire due to powerlines. R1, E21 & G17 responded. Investigation found a tree in contact with primary and secondary power lines causing the tree to catch fire. E21 & G17 were assigned to shut down the road.  Consumers Energy was notified and gave a ETA of ASAP.  While waiting for the power company, the trees cam free of the power lines and extinguished themselves.  Sgt Fornari  (C,R) 5 2 2

26 18 3/1 1013 4,000 block of S. Duffield Rd, Clayton Twp Dispatched for a welfare check (CO Incident) at the above address. C4, R-1, and E-12 responded due to the homeowner not answering the door for a potential Carbon Monoxide leak from a generator running inside the garage with the garage door only opening a few inches off the ground. 38 8 3/25 1318 1,000 block of Winfield Dr, Clayton Twp Dispatched for a burning smell inside a residence, R1 & E21 responded. C1(R1) Investigated and found a burned up motor on a washtub with a tripped breaker. When the pump was unplugged, there was no trip. Issue was isolated E21 cleared out the house of smoke. 39 1 3/27 1453 4,000 block of Schafer Dr, Swartz Creek Dispatched along with AMA from Flushing and Gaines for a commercial structure fire. C2 & E12 responded. Arrival found a 50 X 150 multifamily dwelling with nothing showing from the exterior. Facility maintenance and MPA were on the scene and reported burnt food in the oven and the oven turned on. There was no
apparent damage to the oven or building contents. The apartment was ventilated. No other action was taken.

40 13 3/30 1613 2,000 block of S Seymour Rd, Clayton Twp Dispatched for a 2 vehicle accident with multiple injuries, C1, R1, E11, E21, G17 and S26 responded. On scene found a 2 truck highspeed impact head on collision with 4 patients, with one unconscious and unresponsive entrapped. Crews performed a rapid extrication to remove the passanger. R1 assisted in patient care. S26 & G17 blocked roads to allow for Accident RECON. Chief Plumb (C,R) 6 5 B
41 12 3/31 0937 3,000 block of Elms Rd, Swartz Creek Dispatched for a commercial fire alarm with multiple smoke detector activations and pull stations around the boiler room. C2, R1, E12 & E21 responded. C2 arrived to find National Time and Signal on site who advised there was no fire and that the system was being tested. All units were canceled. 43 12 3/31 1750 4,000 block of Hickory Ridge, Swartz Creek Dispatched for a residential fire alarm. E12 & E21 responded. Upon arrival E12 found a single story residential structure with nothing showing and established command. E21 was downgraded and eventually cancelled. Investigation found smoke detectors activating  for 5 minutes then go off. During the investigation it was determined that the detectors work on a central system. On scene arrival found a kitchen fire that had been extinguished by the resident(s). All AMA was canceled and SCAFD crews began ventilating multiple units in the building. Chief Plumb (C,R) 10 2 B

47 12 4/10 1640 4,000 block of Kroger Dr, Swartz Creek Dispatched an automatic fire alarm showing water flow alarms. C2, E12 & E21 responded. Investigation found the facility in normal operation and no audible alarms  present. further inspection of the  mechanical room and found the air compressor running and a small amount of water on the floor, it appeared that there was a loss of pressure on the dry side of the system causing the water flow and alarms. The homeowner stated he arrived home to the smell of natural gas inside the residence. E12's crew entered the residence where no odor of natural gas was noted. 51 10 4/18 1402 1,000 block of N Elms Rd, Clayton Twp Oringially dispatched AMA to Flushing for a possible structure fire. Genesee County 911 updated responding units the GPS location of the caller was showing at N. Elms Rd south of Beecher Rd, where a resident was burning materials in a barrel in their yard. G17 and R1 responded as well due to the updated incident. Crews observed the fire being attended and materials burning deemed acceptable.  Sgt. Fornari (C,R) 3 2 2

55 1 4/21 0942 2,000 block of S. Elms Rd, Clayton Twp Dispatched with AMA from FLF & GAF for a residential structure fire. Call reported that in the area of Elms and South Fork Dr. 2nd Garage from the corner with smoke coming out of it. C1, C4, E12, E11, E21 responded. 56 6 4/21 2125 EB I69/Duffield Rd, Clayton Twp Dispatched for a semi-truck on fire. E12, S26, E11 R1 & T23 responded. Due to the magnitude of the fire and the direction of the smoke, all EB lanes were closed. E11 & T23 were directed to come the wrong way down the EB exit ramp for suppression and E-12 and S-26 were directed to establish traffic control west of the incident. Shiawassee County was also requested to help with traffic. The fire was confined to the trailer and contents.Grays recovery was contacted for clean up and recovery. Contact was made with Consumers already on location who stated after they replaced a fuse, electric back fed and charred the service line to a residence. All closest, offices, and attic spaces were checked, but the odor was strongest near the coolers and pop machine. C2 arrived to find the rear tires of a 53-foot trailer showing white smoke and that the driver had used a dry chemical extinguisher to knock down the fire. Further investigation found a fire in the brakes and rubber shreds of the tire. E11 arrived to take a right block covering the right lane and shoulder. C1 took a traffic point ½ mile up stream and triffic was temporarily shifted to the left lane. Crews stretched the 1-inch line to extinguish and remain fire and cool the brakes and axle. Assist. When the furnce came on, resident smelled something burning and there was visible smoke in an upstairs bedroom. Investigation found signs of high heat from the blower motor. The farmer, in conjunction with the fire department, emptied the corn into a dump ruck to expose the burning corn at the bottom of the bin. The fire was extinguished without incident. Both departments were dispatched due to conflicting reports and a vague location given that was near the border. Flint Twp units arrived initially and found the incident to be in the City of Swartz Creek, extinguished the fire, and quickly had the patient extricated. 213 12 12/19 1055 5,000 block of Oakview Dr, Swartz Creek Dispatched for a commercial fire alarm. While C2 was responding, we were advised of the alarm company calling in attempting to cancel. All apparatus to were held at the stations while C2 investigated. Contractors advised they were using a K12 cut off saw to cut through a block wall in the building. Due to  concerns over the generation of CO in the building while using an internal combustion engine inside, C2 assisted in setting up proper positive pressure ventilation inside the school. The school was checked for CO 20 minutes after they stopped using the saw and had the and running and the reading was 0 ppm. C2 reviewed the necessary ventilation tips with the contractors and facility management prior to leaving Assist. Chief Tabit  (C,R) 7 1 B

215 1 12/21 1430 5,000 block of S. Seymour Rd, Swartz Creek Dispatched with AMA from Flushing and Gaines for a residential structure fire, with a report of an explosion. C1, E12, E21 ,R1 & E11 responded. Update advised the owner was using butane and it caused the garage to explode, male reported to have burns to upper chest and face. C1 arrived found light smoke and a small fire in the garage. All AMA was canceled and SC units besides E12 who was arriving advised to continue code 1. Male involved was in the care of Medstar EMS on arrival. E12 used a water can and dry chemical extinguisher to put out the fire. Additional water can from E11 was used. Chief Plumb (C,R) 7 5 B
216 18 12/24 0146 8,000 block of Capy Ln. Swartz Creek  Dispatched for a carbon monoxide detector alarm. R-1, C-4 and E12 responded. C-4 confirmed that no one was feeling ill and no EMS was needed. E-12 's crew took the gas detector into the residence to check for CO and showed reading for CO - 0 ppm. 217 5 12/24 0238 3,000 block of Corunna Rd, City of Flint Dispatched along with Flint Twp Fire and Mt. Morris Fire to assist the City of Flint Fire while they were on another structure fire. C4, E21 and E12 responded. Flint Twp Car 3 and T-15 arrived on location with an unattached garage fire that was started by a pile of pallets in the front of the garage. 220 18 12/30 0316 5,000 block of Seymour Rd, Swartz Creek Dispatched tfor the report of a unknown odor coming from the furnace. E12 responded. The homeowner stated they could smell a "chemical" type smell coming from the furnace. The homeowner stated they had a furnace technician service the furnace the day prior and ever since she could smell the odor. E12's investigation found the odor was from a wall mounted gas heater running. Sgt Fornari (C,R) 6 2 1
