Morrish Rd., Flushing Township Responded as AMA to assist the FFD with a structure fire.  As E21, responding with 6, arrived on scene, IC reported the fire under control, but request E21 stand by due to frozen engines.  S16 responded with 5, but was cancelled before arrival. 14 15 02/02 1759 7,000 mile of Miller Rd., Swartz Creek Dispatched to a fuel spill at a gas station.  Investigation determined approx. 22-25 gallons of gas spilled on to the parking area.  It was confined to the station property.  The DEQ was contacted to verify if procedures were properly being followed.  Absorbent was used to pick up the spill.  E11 & S16 responded. 15 5 02/05 0407 Flint Township Station 1. Responded to a request for personnel & an engine to stand by at FTFD station 1 during a structure fire in the 4,000 area of Larchmont St., Flint Township.  E21, with 4, stood by.  No alarms were responded to. Chief Brent Cole (R)
16 1 02/08 0420 8,000 mile of Miller Rd., Swartz Creek Dispatched to a potential stove fire, with AMA from FFD & GTFD.  Investigation determined there was an electrical short in the stove area.  AMA was cancelled.  The TI was used to investigate.  The power was cut to the stove & the owner was advised to contact an electrician.  E11 & E21 responded. 17 3 02/09 0431 10,000 mile of S. Duffield Rd., Gaines Township Responded as AMA to assist the GTFD with a potential structure.  Before arrival, E12 & T23 were cancelled.  Cause of the alarm was dust in the furnace. Lieut. Brendt Cole (R)

20 13 02/19 0900 12,000 mile of Corunna Rd., Clayton Township Dispatched for a possible vehicle entrapment in water.  E21 & E11 responded.  On scene, it was found a pickup truck was on it's side in a ditch.  The driver was able to escape without assistance. Batt. Chief Jack King (C)

21 6 02/20 2227 9,000 mile of Miller Rd., Clayton Township Responded to a vehicle fire.  E11 with 5 & E12 with 2 responded.  E11 extinguished the fire.  When units were ready to return, E12 was hit by a mini-van in the left rear.  One firefighter, sitting in the passenger set of E12, was injured with the vehicle was pushed approximately 2'.  He was transported to McLaren for evaluation, & later released.  The driver of the mini-van was charged with driver while intoxicated by the CTPD. 22 5 02/24 0224 Flint Township Fire Station #2 Dispatched as mutual aid to stand by while the FTFD was tied up with a structure fire in the 4,000 mile of Beecher Rd.   No alarms were responded to during the stand by. Lieut. Mike Treiger (R)
23 9 02/24 1116 12,000 mile of Beecher Rd., Clayton Township Responded to a smoke investigation, reported by cell phone caller.  Investigation determined 3 large brush piles were burning (after calling the SCAFD to advise).  The location of the piles was deemed to close to a woods area.  The owner was required to move the piles to an isolated area before continuing to burn.  E21 & G17 responded. 24 1 02/16 1947 Ashley Circle, Swartz Creek Dispatched, with AMA from FFD & GTFD to a structure fire.  Before arrival, residents in the area rescued a woman near a side entrance.  E11, was the attach engine, while E21 laid a 5" supply line.  S16 provided support will FFD & GTFD provided personnel.  There was heavy damage to the one end of the structure.  The resident was transported to the hospital. 27 2 03/04 1440 500 block of Misty Morning Dr., Flushing AMA was dispatched to respond to assist the FFD with a potential structure fire.  On scene investigation determined a water heater had ruptured causing steam to be mistaken for smoke.  All SCAFD units were cancelled before responding. Seymour Rd., Clayton Township 911 dispatch report a the CTPD found a wire across the road, posing a hazard.  C3 responded & found a phone wire in the road way, already cut.  C3 held all equipment at their stations while he removed the wire. 30 1 03/16 1739 9,000 block of Norbury Dr., Swartz Creek Dispatched with AMA from FFD & GTFD for a structure fire.  The spread from a chimney to the upper floor roof & wall area.  The fire was confined to one room.  While removing the added chimney assembly, it fell hitting a parked car next door.  E11, S16 & E21 responded. 31 10 03/16 1900 Willow Lane, Swartz Creek Meadows, Clayton Township While finishing place of equipment back in service from alarm 30, G17 responded to an open burning complaint.  On scene it was discovered the resident was burning furniture in a pit.  They were advised of the park rules of no burning. 37 9 03/31 0900 7,000 mile of Calkins Rd., Clayton Township Responded to a report of an unknown fire with a domestic situation.  C3, responded with direction to stage for PD.  Flint Township PD on scene cleared the situation.  Investigation by C3 determined the owner was covering the fire with a tractor.  The owner had called the fire station and was issued a permit. 39 12 04/03 0825 11,000 mile of Lennon Rd., Venice Township Received a dispatch for residential fire/water flow alarm.  It was determined the address was actually in Shiawassee County.  Venice Township handled the alarm.  No SCAFD units responded. Capt. Steve Tabit (R)

43 15 04/07 0758 8,000 Corunna Rd., Clayton Township Responded to a report of a fuel spill.  On scene, it was determined a pick up had lost a fuel tank strap, causing the tank to drag on the pavement, which caused a leak.  The vehicle pulled into a business parking lot, as the driver planned to have the business repair the tank strap.  Absorbent was applied to the location of the tank.  E21 responded.
